Throughout the year, Hospicare holds many events and programs, including ongoing grief support groups and special one-time or limited-time sessions. Hospicare also holds fundraising activities and outreach and educational events.
The Compassionate Friends

An event every month that begins at 5:30 pm on day First of the month, repeating indefinitely
This group meets the first Thursday of every month via Zoom, and is open to any parents, grandparents or siblings over the age of 18 who have experienced the death of a child of any age. This group is run independently from Hospicare and is the local chapter of the national Compassionate Friends organization (visit their website at compassionatefriends.org). If you are interested, have questions, or want more information, please call 607-387-5711. There are occasional in-person meetings at the Finger Lakes Independence Center.
