Throughout the year, Hospicare holds many events and programs, including ongoing grief support groups and special one-time or limited-time sessions. Hospicare also holds fundraising activities and outreach and educational events.

Illuminations Community Memorial 2023

Illuminations postponed until June 15!
All are welcome to attend our annual Illuminations Community Memorial on Thursday, June 15th from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the Nina K. Miller Hospice Residence,172 E. King Rd., Ithaca.
Join us to enjoy the Hospicare gardens, light a luminaria in memory of a loved one, and share in a special program of remembrance featuring live music, poetry, and a dance performance.

- Harp by Jayne Demakos, Harpist & Certified Music-Thanatologist
- Kathy Lucas and Indira White will share excerpts from “Moving Grief Project”
- Sunset rendition of “Taps” by our pond
The event will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine! Light refreshments will be served. In case of inclement weather, event will be held under a tent. Attendance is free.
