Grief can affect you not only emotionally, buy physically as well. You may be feeling sad, irritable, hopeless or gloomy. Your physical body may be experiencing fatigue, insomnia, poor appetite, new aches and pains or other physical discomforts. Chinese medicine has a deep understanding of the connection between the emotional and physical elements of grieving. It offers numerous therapies to help people through this difficult time. This event will focus on learning some easy, accessible self-care therapies such as self-acupressure, essential oils and herbal teas that help support and nourish the body, mind and spirit during grief.
