Throughout the year, Hospicare holds many events and programs, including ongoing grief support groups and special one-time or limited-time sessions. Hospicare also holds fundraising activities and outreach and educational events.

Hospicare 101

Learn more about the difference between hospice and palliative care and how we can help patients, families, and caregivers at ANY stage of a life-limiting illness. Our team will introduce you to the services of Hospicare & Palliative Care Services. We use a team approach to providing care to patients, families and caregivers in Cortland and Tompkins counties. We provide emotional, medical and spiritual support, and patients have access to care from physicians, nurses, social workers, grief counselors, home health aides and volunteers. Hospicare also offers grief support services for all those who live in Tompkins or Cortland Counties, regardless of whether your loved one used Hospicare services.

This event is part of Hospicare’s community programs with Longview. Workshops are free and open to all. Workshops will be held in person at Longview.
