Throughout the year, Hospicare holds many events and programs, including ongoing grief support groups and special one-time or limited-time sessions. Hospicare also holds fundraising activities and outreach and educational events.

Winter Solace Community Memorial

Join the Hospicare team and other community members for a time of remembrance during the holiday season!
Our annual Winter Solace Community Memorial will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 4th at the First Unitarian Society of Ithaca located on the corner of Buffalo and Aurora St. in Ithaca.
Guests will have the opportunity to light a candle and contribute their loved one’s name to a collaborative memorial. Stop by for a bit or stay for the entire gathering. Brief remembrance program begins at 4:00 p.m.
*Please park on the street or in one of the nearby garages. Our hosts can greet guests dropped off near the building’s accessible entrances.
