Resources
Part of our mission is to provide education to our community about advanced illness, dying, and bereavement.
Our staff is here to share their knowledge about issues related to advanced illness, dying, bereavement, and how hospice works. Please let us know if we can answer your questions or connect you with resources or information.
As part of that effort, we have a library of resources at our offices, which are located at the Nina K. Miller Hospicare Center. We are happy to loan books, videos, and other material to anyone in the community. Our site also includes many articles. Our goal is to include a variety of material and perspectives so that people may find what is most relevant to them. The opinions expressed are those of the authors and may not reflect those of Hospicare. You may want to explore how to make sure your wishes are followed if you are unable to speak for yourself. You can also read articles for caregivers and patients and for those grieving a loss. We also have articles on the dying process and how to support someone who may be dying.
You can also find out more about us by reading our newsletter, annual report, or brochures. These materials and our articles are in PDF format. If you don't have a free Adobe reader, download it here:
