Upcoming events include:

  • Storytelling with Regi Carpenter - July 31 2:00-5:00pm. Local storyteller Regi Carpenter will work with children and their families to share stories of life and death.
  • Gardening Your Grief - August 5 and 12, 5:30-7pm. For children ages 5-12 and their caregviers. This group will use Hospicare’s beautiful gardens and grounds in activities with themes related to death and grief. Part of the Good Grief Program for children.   • Women Swimmin' - August 14. This annual community swim brings together hundreds of swimmers and boaters and is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Read a reflection from swimmer Marjory Martin or a reflection from boater Fred Bonn. Registration for swimmers and boaters is closed. 
  • Music - Hospicare has a music program and is excited to announce our new CD featuring local artists. We hold special events that feature music as well as a monthly singing circle for women at the Nina K. Miller Hospicare Center. See photos from our Voices for Hospice show featuring local musicians.
  • Light the Landscape - Our annual winter program of music and reflection. Each year the winter gardens of the Nina K. Miller Hospicare Center glow with shimmering lights. Each bulb commemorates the life of a loved one. See photos from our 2009 event.
